Why would someone that has voted in ten Democratic Primaries run for the Tennessee House as a Republican?
Pat Marsh, a “Republican” candidate in the special election for State House District 62, now has to answer that question.
Sources tell No Chaser there’s more to the story. Marsh hasn’t just voted in ten Democratic Primaries in his life. Oh, no! It’s even worse than that. He has voted in ten of the last 12 Democratic Primaries, including the 2008 Presidential Preference Primary. Wonder if he voted for Obama or Hillary?

Watch it, conservatives! Pat Marsh is one a them lib'ruls!
Is it even necessary to type the line about quacking and ducks?

I think the better question is, how can he get away with saying, quote, “Personally, I can’t remember what I did in February 2008?” Either a) he was in some sort of substance-produced haze, or b) he’s just careless.
Giving him the benefit of the doubt, let’s just assume he’s careless. The man only cast one vote in the first half of the year 2008. (We won’t hold him responsible for keeping track of voting in August AND November.) He can’t remember that one vote. If (and that’s a big IF) he were to become the 62nd District’s representative, he’d be casting dozens of votes every week at all different levels of the legislative process. How’s he going to keep track of them all? Will Tuesday be “Yea” day, Wednesday “Nay” day, and Thursday “Grab Bag?” Or maybe “Ask Mumpower Day,” “Ask Casada Day,” and “Pretend-to-Ask-Gary-Odom-to-Make-the-Folks-in-the-Gallery-Think-I’m-Bipartisan-but-Actually-Ask-Debra-Maggart Day?”
And I’ll just ignore his suggestion that for the past ten or twelve election cycles, he’s been cleverly voting for the most easily-defeated Democrat.
